Meet Your Dentists
Dr. Forrest “Scott” Dixon
After completing his undergraduate studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Dr. Dixon completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry. He has been working as a dentist at Dixon, Boles and Associates for almost 30 years. The practice itself has been around for 50 years, and Dr. Dixon is proud the practice offers almost every discipline in dentistry under one roof. This includes general, cosmetic, orthodontics, sedation, endodontics, periodontics, prosthodontics, implants, and some pediatrics. Dr. Dixon thinks of dentistry as a fusion of art, science, and patient care. He is grateful for the privilege of getting to serve the Wilson community and feels blessed to be part of such a supportive and successful dental team.
Dr. Dixon has been married to his wife, Rebecca, since 2013, and loves getting to spend time with her and his two adult children, Claire and Ian, when outside the office. He is also passionate about shelter dog rescues and has three rescue dogs at home, G, Hope, and Rip. Dr. Dixon and his wife also support The Maggie Society, a local dog rescue and rehabilitation organization.
When not working, Dr. Dixon enjoys reading, gardening, being outdoors, and attending local baseball games in the summertime.
Dr. Bill Boles III
Born in Wilson and raised in Raleigh, Dr. Bill Boles III attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for his undergraduate studies. After three years, he was accepted early at UNC School of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2003. With a mother, father, and sister who are also dentists, Dr. Boles III is proud to carry on his family’s legacy of offering outstanding and painless dentistry to every patient in a comfortable and caring environment.
Dr. Boles III enjoys enriching his dental practice with hundreds of hours in continuing education. He is a certified Invisalign and minimal conscious sedation dentistry provider.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Boles III loves spending time with his wife, Olivia, and two boys, Bo and Worth. He also enjoys going to the beach, playing tennis, and playing piano, as well as the occasional round of golf with his sons and dad, Dr. Boles Jr. He is active in the First Presbyterian Church of Wilson, where he sings in the choir and has served as deacon. Dr. Boles III has served on the Wilson County Board of Public Health and is past president of the Wilson County Dental Society. With a passion for giving back to his community, Dr. Boles III has organized local Give Kids a Smile events and is active in both the North Carolina Dental Society and the American Dental Association.
Dr. Elizabeth Price
Dr. Elizabeth Price is a lifelong native of North Carolina who, along with her family, loves calling Wilson home and being part of the community. After completing her undergraduate studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Dr. Price taught middle grades science in Johnston County until she discovered her passion for dentistry. Dr. Price received her Doctor of Dental Medicine from East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine in 2016. She then completed her Advanced Education in General Dentistry in 2017 and became a member of the American Dental Association and the North Carolina Dental Society.
While she traded the classroom for a dental practice, Dr. Price still loves expressing her passion for learning through continuing education that helps her provide the highest quality patient care. A teacher at heart, Dr. Price has served as a UNC School of Dentistry adjunct instructor in the Department of Dental Ecology, an adjunct assistant professor in the Department of General Dentistry at ECU School of Dental Medicine, and as a faculty member of the NYU Langone Advanced Education in General Dentistry program. Dr. Price also enjoys building relationships with her patients and learning about their individual needs. She strives to create positive and comfortable dental experiences. Whether it’s a routine checkup or restorative treatment, it is important to her and the team to make each visit as stress-free and enjoyable as possible.
Dr. Price and her husband, Chris, love creating memories with their three boys, Ethan, Ashby, and Bodie. They love family adventures and spending time on Buckhorn Lake enjoying water sports.
Dr. Zack Bunn
Dr. Zack Bunn is a native of Wilson, North Carolina, and has deep roots extending through Eastern North Carolina. He attended Lenoir-Rhyne University and helped lead its football team to a National Championship appearance in 2013. Because of this, Dr. Bunn was selected as a member of the Lenoir-Rhyne All-Decade Team and Hall of Fame (2013 Football Team).
Dr. Bunn earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine from East Carolina University. He is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care to his patients through continuing education, mentorship, and implementing the latest in dental technology. Dr. Bunn strongly believes in personalizing comprehensive care to each patient and exceeding their expectations.
Dr. Bunn is passionate about community service and has been involved in several outreach efforts, including Mission of Mercy, Baptists on Mission, and the Give Kids a Smile program, as well as at the New Hope Clinic in Brunswick County. He was also the National Children’s Dental Health Month presenter at Sallie B. Howard School.
Dr. Bunn enjoys spending time with his wife, Courtney, his daughter, Blakely, and their goldendoodle, Benny. On weekends, you’ll find Dr. Bunn fishing, hunting, boating, golfing, and spending time at the beach.
Dr. William Via
Dr. Via was born and raised in Wilson, North Carolina, and is a graduate of High Point University with a bachelor’s in biology. He completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine at the East Carolina School of Dental Medicine. During his studies, he volunteered at events such as North Carolina Missions of Mercy Dental Clinics, Sonrie Clinic, New Hope Clinic in Brunswick County, and Veteran Smiles Clinic at Spruce Pine. He was also awarded the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology Award.
Dr. Via was inspired to pursue a career in dentistry by one of his parents, who has practiced in the industry for over 30 years. He is excited to be part of the Dixon, Boles and Associates team and give back to the Wilson community he grew up in. Dr. Via’s whole family lives in Wilson, and he is thrilled to be back!
Outside of the dental office, Dr. Via enjoys golfing and fishing and serves as a Deacon in the First Presbyterian Church in Wilson. He also loves attending country music concerts and spending time with his family.
